Preamble:
Natural healing methods existed in all countries comprising of different practices based on the weather, nature of land and vegetation, other resources, culture etc. India, formerly known as Hindustan / Bharath, has a track record of very old civilization, culture and health- maintaining practices. The very early population in India worshipped the natural powers like sun, moon, rain, wind, fire, earth and ether. They considered all those natural forces as the visible forms of God. A Godly image and consideration was given to the natural forces to avoid challenges from human beings and also to persuade mankind to live in accordance with the nature. They were very clear that as and when the human beings try to control or conquer the nature for their luxury and over-enjoyment, the nature will get polluted and it will result in giving bitter experiences in day to day life and reduce the chances of healthy life.
Even now those who live in areas where nature has been maintained as such, protected from pollution, are healthy and with high level of immunity. Beautiful natural landscapes giving happiness to mind; fresh and unpolluted air, natural food and beverages are the prime points of health. This is a base stone of natural living & healing.
